今回で９回目となるアジア太平洋科学哲学会の会合が２０２１年７月に韓国科学哲学会のホストでオンラインで開催されます。発表募集の連絡がありましたのでお知らせします。

 

Call for papers

The 9th Biennial Conference for the Asian-Pacific Philosophy of Science Association (APPSA)

 

We are happy to announce that the next APPSA conference will be taking place on July 2-3 (Fri.-Sat.) 2021 at Seoul National University in Korea. Due to the worldwide spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), we are planning to have an online-only conference (using the Zoom app) at this point unless the pandemic situation in East Asia improves dramatically by February (which looks highly unlikely).

Your papers to be presented at the online meeting may be on any topics in philosophy of science. We welcome a variety of topics that can represent the full range of current work in the field. The initial deadline for submitting paper proposals is on January 31, 2021. Online submissions of proposals (title and abstracts) are open through the google form.

If you are unable to use the Google form, you can send your proposal by email to ksphilsci@gmail.com (please include the title and abstracts of your paper with your name and academic affiliation) Once we accept your proposals, our program committee will proceed to organize parallel sessions around specific topics in philosophy of science.

Questions about the conference and the proposal submission should be directed to the Korean organizing committee of the conference at ksphilsci@gmail.com  Also you are welcome to circulate this email to anyone in your country who might be interested in participating in the conference.
